Samuel Adeyanju

PhD Student in Forestry, University of British Columbia
BTech in Forestry and Wood Technology, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria
MSc in Forestry, University of British Columbia

My research interests are broadly focused on sustainable management of forests in Sub Saharan Africa. Previously, I have researched on cultural landscapes and its importance to biodiversity conservation in Nigeria. I have also researched on the nexus between CBNRM and Integrated Landscape Approaches in Ghana and Zambia. Most recently, I interned at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization Headquarters in Rome where I provided significant background information for the development of 26 forest education modules for children aged 9-12 in Tanzania under the FAO Forestry Education project.
